About The Walk   Safety   Directions
Safety Counts on Walk day.
  • Please be sure that your children wear good socks and walking shoes.  Nothing can can stop your child short of their goal like a blister.

  • Hot Weather:   Walk days are often sunny. Don't forget to use sunscreen and wear a hat and sunglasses - for yourself and your children.

  • Stay hydrated:  We will have water stations along the the route and we'll also have water and drinks available at the lunch area.

  • Keep Cool:  Bring a water squirter or portable fan.  These are two great ways to keep cool.

  • First Aid:  Our First Aid station will be manned (or womaned) throughout the event.

  • For the safety of the crowds of young children at the event, Please no bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or Razor-type scooters on the Walk.
